Invisalign, Angel Aligners and ClearCorrect in Bacchus Marsh

Clear aligners in Bacchus Marsh, for straightening that stays low-key.

Clear aligners are a series of custom, removable trays that move teeth a little at a time, without brackets or wires. At Magical Smiles Bacchus Marsh we offer three systems: Invisalign, Angel Aligners and ClearCorrect. They all start from $4,500 per arch, and this page explains how they compare so you can walk into your consultation with better questions.

Does this sound familiar?

It's rarely one big thing. It's the little workarounds.

Teeth that have drifted or crowded rarely stop you doing anything. They just shape small habits — the way you smile in photos, the gap you always floss twice, the tooth you notice every time you catch your reflection.

  • Smiling with your lips closed in photos, without really deciding to.
  • A lower tooth that has slowly turned or started to overlap its neighbour.
  • Thinking braces are something you missed as a teenager and can't do now.
  • Wondering whether your case is too small to be worth raising with a dentist.

If any of that sounds like you, clear aligners are worth understanding. The two questions most people want answered are what aligners can realistically do for their teeth, and whether Invisalign is the only brand worth considering. Short answers: it depends on your case, and no.

The plain-English version

How do clear aligners work?

Every clear aligner system follows the same idea. A 3D digital scan of your teeth is used to plan a sequence of small movements. A set of custom trays is then made from that plan, each one slightly different from the last. You wear each tray for about one to two weeks before moving to the next, and the light, steady pressure guides your teeth step by step.

Trays come out when you eat, drink anything other than water, brush and floss, then go straight back in. Victoria's Better Health Channel puts the usual wear time for clear aligners at 20–22 hours a day (page reviewed December 2025), so those breaks need to stay short. Some plans use small tooth-coloured bumps called attachments, which help the trays grip and are visible only up close. Progress checks at our Gisborne Road clinic let us adjust the plan early if a tooth isn't tracking as expected.

Where most conversations start

Invisalign is the name people already know.

Most people who ask us about aligners mention Invisalign by name. It's made by Align Technology, uses its own SmartTrack tray material and is widely known, so it's usually where the conversation begins.

Invisalign plans can include attachments and staged bite corrections as well as crowding and spacing, which is one reason we often walk through it first. Our Invisalign in Bacchus Marsh page covers the consultation, the day-to-day and the cost in more detail.

A familiar name doesn't make it the right choice for every mouth, and results vary between individuals. It's a sensible starting point for the conversation, and the final choice comes from your scan and your priorities.

Which clear aligner system is right for me?

All three systems we offer use custom trays planned from a digital scan. They differ in material, history and the range of cases each is usually chosen for. Here's the plain comparison — you don't need to pick one before your consultation.

Invisalign

Made by Align Technology with its own SmartTrack material. At our Bacchus Marsh clinic it's often the first system we discuss, and it can be planned for straightforward crowding through to more involved bite changes.

If you've already read about Invisalign and want to know whether it suits your teeth, a scan at your consultation is the quickest way to find out.

Angel Aligners & ClearCorrect

Angel Aligners and ClearCorrect are clinically recognised clear aligner systems made from dental-grade thermoplastic. ClearCorrect has been part of our Bacchus Marsh aligner options for some time, and Angel Aligners sit alongside it.

For mild to moderate crowding or spacing, wearing them day to day feels much the same as Invisalign, and the digital planning is similar. We'll suggest one of them when your case and priorities fit.

Angel Aligners ClearCorrect Assessed case-by-case

The right system depends on the position of your teeth, your bite and what you're hoping for, not on a brand name. We'll talk through the realistic options for your mouth at a consultation before anything is decided. Results, timelines and suitability vary between individuals.

Step by step

What does aligner treatment involve?

Whichever system you end up with, the path looks much the same. Here's what to expect, start to finish.

Clear aligners are one part of orthodontics at Magical Smiles Bacchus Marsh, alongside braces and Myobrace for children.

01

Consultation & digital scan

We look at your crowding, spacing and bite, check your teeth and gums are healthy enough to start, and take a 3D digital scan.

02

Your plan & quote

From the scan we map the planned movements, give you an estimated number of trays and months, and provide a detailed written quote. It's a plan rather than a promise, because every mouth responds a little differently.

03

Wearing your trays

You wear your trays 20–22 hours a day and move to the next set about every one to two weeks, taking them out only to eat, drink and clean.

04

Progress checks

Regular check-ups at the clinic confirm your teeth are tracking to plan, and we can trim a tray edge or adjust the sequence if needed.

05

Retainers afterwards

Once the last tray is done, a retainer holds your teeth in their new position. Retainers are usually worn at night long-term, because teeth naturally shift without them.

Are clear aligners right for you?

Aligners suit many teens and adults, but they aren't the right first option for everyone. Here's an honest starting point before your consultation.

They tend to suit you if…

  • You have mild to moderate crowding or spacing, or a bite that needs a small adjustment.
  • You'd prefer a less visible option than metal braces at work, at school or in photos.
  • You're happy to be responsible for a removable device — consistent daily wear is what makes it work.
  • Your teeth and gums are otherwise healthy.

They may not be the first option if…

  • Your teeth need complex movements or a larger bite correction, which fixed braces can suit better.
  • You're not sure you'd keep trays in for most of the day.
  • Your child is still growing and an early-intervention approach may make more sense first.

Making it manageable

How much do clear aligners cost?

Clear aligners at Magical Smiles Bacchus Marsh start from $4,500 per arch, whether you choose Invisalign, Angel Aligners or ClearCorrect. Your final cost depends on how many teeth need to move, how long treatment runs and whether any dental care is needed first. You'll get a detailed written quote before treatment starts, and many patients spread the cost with a payment plan or claim part of it through their health fund. If you're claiming through extras cover, check your waiting period before treatment starts: privatehealth.gov.au says waiting periods are generally up to 12 months or more for major items such as orthodontics (checked 29 September 2026).

We accept

About the estimator: it gives an indicative figure based on typical per-arch pricing and is not a quote. Your exact cost depends on your case and the aligner system you choose, and you'll receive it in writing after your assessment. Repayment figures are illustrative and use Humm/NDP's own plan-fee formula for the term selected, so Humm's fees are already included. Finance depends on Humm's own eligibility criteria and approval.

A calm place to start

Matched to your teeth, not a brand.

Three systems, one honest conversation

Because we offer Invisalign, Angel Aligners and ClearCorrect, we can recommend the one that suits your case rather than steering you to a single brand.

Checked along the way

Regular check-ups at our Gisborne Road clinic keep your plan on track, and you can call between visits if a tray doesn't feel right.

Retention planned from day one

A retainer plan is part of every aligner treatment, so the position your teeth reach is protected after the last tray.

Good questions

What people ask about clear aligners.

Magical Smiles Bacchus Marsh offers three clear aligner systems: Invisalign, Angel Aligners and ClearCorrect. All three use custom removable trays planned from a 3D digital scan, and we recommend one after assessing your teeth at our clinic at 83 Gisborne Road.
Invisalign is one brand of clear aligner, made by Align Technology with its own SmartTrack material. Angel Aligners and ClearCorrect are other clinically recognised systems made from dental-grade thermoplastic. All of them move teeth with a series of custom trays, and the right one for you depends on your teeth rather than the brand.

It depends on how much your teeth need to move and how consistently you wear the trays. Minor spacing or crowding may take 6 to 12 months, while more complex cases can take 18 to 24 months or longer. We give you an estimated timeframe in your plan.
Clear aligners need to be worn 20 to 22 hours a day. Take them out only to eat, drink anything other than water, and brush and floss. Leaving them out for longer can slow treatment, because teeth can drift back between wears.
Yes. Teeth naturally shift over time, so a retainer is part of every aligner treatment we provide. Retainers are usually worn at night long-term to help keep your teeth in their new position.

Not sure which system fits your case?

A consultation and digital scan is usually enough to tell whether Invisalign, Angel Aligners or ClearCorrect makes more sense for you. Want to ask a few questions first? Give the clinic a call.
