No countdown, no catch, just an ongoing way to let us know when a friend needs one too.
You're rewarded once your friend visits and the referral's confirmed. Track it in the app — Refer a Friend → Get Vouchers — then bring the voucher in to redeem.

Ask around, and hardly anyone found their hairdresser, their favourite café or their physio through an advertisement. Someone they trusted mentioned a name, and that was that. Dentistry tends to work the same way — if you've ever told a friend "you have to see my dentist, they're actually really good," you've already done the part of this program that matters most.
Refer a Friend is simply a proper thank-you for that conversation. It sits inside the Magical Smiles — MyDentist App, ready any time a friend happens to mention they're after a new dentist. There's nothing to remember to claim by a deadline, because there isn't one — it's just there, quietly, whenever it's useful to you.
Your friend's first check-up and clean happens at our clinic on Gisborne Road, and they'll join Frequent Smiles at no extra cost when they start as a new patient.

Frequent Smiles is our patient rewards program — a quiet thank-you for keeping up with the hygiene visits you'd be booking anyway. Here's exactly how your referral bonus plugs into it.
The usual way in
New patients normally receive a complimentary take-home whitening kit (valued at $360) once teeth whitening is assessed as clinically suitable at their first Check-up & Clean. Existing patients can access the kit at 50% off ($180 of $360 retail) at their next eligible hygiene visit.
Whitening is a cosmetic procedure; results vary between individuals, and suitability is confirmed only after a clinical assessment.
Because they were referred by you
Your friend's Frequent Smiles enrolment is complimentary regardless — a thank-you for joining through you, waiving the usual kit fee. From there, both new and existing members receive complimentary top-up whitening gel at each six-monthly qualifying hygiene visit, as long as their membership stays active within its seven-month validity window.
Open the Magical Smiles — MyDentist App and send your friend or acquaintance the referral link. Once they join as a new patient and complete their first Check-up and Clean, the referral is confirmed by our team.

Refer a Friend Programme — Terms and Conditions

1. About the Programme
The Refer a Friend Programme (the “Programme”) is a patient referral programme operated by Magical Smiles Dental (“we”, “us”, or “our”), including at Magical Smiles Bacchus Marsh, accessed through the Magical Smiles — MyDentistApp (the “App”). The Programme allows existing patients to invite friends and family to become patients of Magical Smiles Dental and, where a referral is successfully validated, to receive the rewards set out in these Terms and Conditions.
Participation in the Programme, whether as a Referrer or a Referee, constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in full.
2. Definitions and Eligibility
“Referrer” means an existing, registered patient of Magical Smiles Dental, aged 18 years or over, who initiates a referral through the App. Patients under 18 may participate as a Referrer only with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.
“Referee” means the person who receives a referral invitation and becomes a New Patient in accordance with Section 3.
“New Patient” means an individual who has not been a registered patient at any Magical Smiles Dental location at any time in the 36 months immediately preceding the referral.
“Immediate Family Member” means a spouse or de facto partner, parent, child, or sibling of the Referrer, or a person ordinarily residing at the same address as the Referrer.
Referrers must hold an active, registered account on the App in order to send a referral.
The Programme is available to patients of Magical Smiles Bacchus Marsh, 83 Gisborne Road, Bacchus Marsh VIC 3340.
We reserve the right to verify eligibility, and to decline, withhold, or reverse a reward, where these eligibility requirements are not met.
3. How It Works
The Referrer opens the Magical Smiles — MyDentistApp and accesses the Refer a Friend feature.
The Referrer sends their referral link or invitation directly to the Referee.
The Referee must be a New Patient and must book their first appointment using the referral link or invitation.
The Referee must attend and complete their first booked appointment for the referral to be validated. Appointments that are cancelled, rescheduled without attendance, or recorded as a non-attendance do not qualify.
Once attendance at the first appointment is confirmed by our clinical or reception team, the referral is validated and both parties receive the rewards described in Section 4.
4. Rewards
Referrer reward: upon a validated referral, the Referrer receives a coupon in the App, viewable via Refer a Friend → Get Vouchers, which entitles them to a $100 credit towards their next visit at Magical Smiles Dental (“Referral Voucher”).
Referee reward: upon becoming a validated New Patient, the Referee receives complimentary enrolment in the Frequent Smiles Programme at no cost, together with a complimentary take-home whitening kit provided in connection with that enrolment (see Section 6).
There is no limit to the number of referrals a Referrer may make. Each validated referral is treated as eligible for its own $100 credit, unless we advise otherwise.
Rewards have no cash value, cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash, and cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, or assigned to any other person.
5. Referral Voucher — Redemption and Expiry
The $100 Referral Voucher is issued to the Referrer as a coupon in the App (Refer a Friend → Get Vouchers) once the referral has been validated in accordance with Section 3.
The Referral Voucher expires 1 month from its date of issue. Vouchers not redeemed within this period are forfeited automatically and cannot be reinstated, extended, or reissued, except at our discretion.
The Referral Voucher may only be applied as a credit towards treatment at Magical Smiles Dental and cannot be redeemed for cash or applied retrospectively to a completed treatment or invoice.
It is the Referrer's responsibility to book and attend an appointment within the redemption period in order to use the Referral Voucher.
6. Frequent Smiles Enrolment and Whitening Kit
The Referee's complimentary Frequent Smiles Programme enrolment and take-home whitening kit are provided on the same clinical and eligibility basis as any other new-patient enrolment in the Frequent Smiles Programme, and are subject to the separate Frequent Smiles Programme Terms and Conditions, including all clinical suitability requirements set out in those terms.
Provision of a take-home whitening kit is subject to clinical assessment at the time of the Referee's appointment. We make no guarantee as to the degree of whitening achieved or any particular aesthetic outcome; results vary between individuals.
Ongoing participation in the Frequent Smiles Programme by the Referee (including maintaining active membership beyond initial enrolment) is governed by the Frequent Smiles Programme Terms and Conditions, not by these Terms and Conditions.
7. Referral Conduct and Programme Integrity
Referrals must be made honestly and in good faith through the App's Refer a Friend feature. Self-referral, the creation of duplicate or false patient records, or any other attempt to circumvent these Terms and Conditions to claim a reward is prohibited.
We reserve the right to withhold, reverse, or reclaim any reward, and to suspend or terminate a patient's access to the Programme, where we reasonably suspect fraudulent, abusive, or improper conduct in connection with the Programme.
Referral links and invitations generated through the App are for the Referrer's personal use and must not be published, advertised, or distributed publicly (for example, on public social media pages, forums, or coupon- or voucher-sharing websites).
8. Interaction with Other Offers
Referral rewards cannot be combined with any other promotional offer, discount, or voucher unless we expressly state otherwise in writing. Where a Referee would otherwise qualify for another new-patient offer at the time of booking, only one offer may be applied, and we will confirm which offer applies at the time of booking or attendance.
9. Fees, Pricing, and Changes
All amounts stated in these Terms and Conditions are in Australian dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST where applicable.
We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or discontinue the Programme, or to change the value or nature of the rewards offered, at any time. Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice of material changes via the App and/or email. Changes will not affect rewards already validated prior to the change taking effect.
10. Magical Smiles App
Participation in the Programme requires an active, registered account on the Magical Smiles — MyDentistApp for both the Referrer and, following enrolment, the Referee. It is each patient's responsibility to maintain accurate contact details and enable notifications in order to receive Programme communications.
We are not liable for any Programme reward not being received or applied due to incorrect account details, disabled notifications, or other factors outside our reasonable control.
11. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with the Programme, including information provided when sending or receiving a referral through the App, is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Our Privacy Policy is available at bacchusmarshdental.com.au/privacy/.
By using the Refer a Friend feature, the Referrer confirms they have the Referee's consent to share the Referee's name and contact details with us for the purpose of the referral.
12. Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a patient's participation in the Programme at any time where: (a) these Terms and Conditions are breached; (b) fraudulent or abusive conduct is reasonably suspected; (c) the patient's account with us is not in good standing; or (d) the Programme is discontinued.
If the Programme is discontinued, we will provide reasonable notice via the App and/or email where practicable. No compensation is payable for Referral Vouchers or rewards not yet validated as at the date of discontinuation.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss arising from participation in, exclusion from, or reliance on the Programme.
Our liability to a Referrer or Referee in connection with the Programme is limited to the value of the reward associated with the relevant referral.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy available under the Australian Consumer Law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from the Programme will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
